Jules Wainstein and her husband, Michael, are currently in the midst of a very messy divorce. As the 8th season of The Real Housewives of New York City nears its conclusion, rumors are swirling which claim fans may not see any more of Wainstein's kids on the show. On August 3, Page Six shared excerpts from a legal letter sent to Bravo by Michael's lawyer. In the letter, written by attorney Mark Jay Heller, Wainstein's husband attempts to forbid the network from airing scenes featuring his children, 5-year-old Jagger and 3-year-old Rio.

Michael “adamantly declines and demands his [children] not be included in the program,” the letter explained. He “believes it would be detrimental to the children’s well-being to be put on television.”

According to Jules Wainstein's husband's attorney, he also represented Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin, who requested the same action be taken from TLC after he and wife Kate parted ways. “We ultimately saw the entire show [temporarily] shut down,” Heller revealed.

Unfortunately for Michael, he may not have a leg to stand on. As rumors swirl regarding his alleged affair, which led to his divorce filing earlier this year, a source close to Bravo TV claims they haven't even received the letter. In addition, Jules Wainstein has released a statement, via her rep, which suggested Michael may have already signed off on their children's future appearances.

“This is completely ridiculous. [Michael] would have had to have signed a release when the show started taping last year.

Again, this is a waste of time,” Wainstein's rep explained.

While Michael was likely required to sign off on his children's appearance on The Real Housewives of New York City season eight, he may have to renew their contract for future seasons. That said, one signature may have been enough for their roles to continue on the show.
