Dwayne Johnson or The Rock took to social media to rant about his experience on the set of the new and upcoming Fast and Furious franchise called Fast 8. During a break from the shoot The Rock channeled his anger via social media by calling his male Fast and Furious co-stars "Candy Asses".

"There is no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one," the wrestler-turned-Actor wrote on his Instagram page. Mr. Johnson was nice about his female co-stars though. He added, "My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em.

My male co-stars, however, are a different story...Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don't." Johnson continues, "the ones that don't are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

Vin Diesel vs The Rock

The Rock's comments have angered his costars - including the superstar Vin Diesel. The tech-savvy superstar took to social media to talk about the rift between him (and other Fast 8 costars) and Dwayne Johnson. In cryptic messages, the action hero took to Instagram Wednesday (and on Facebook Thursday) to explain his spat with the Fast and Furious 8 costar Dwayne Johnson.

He posted the video on Instagram first and then on Facebook the following day. In both videos the Furious franchise star talked about wrapping filming for the upcoming Fast 8.

On Instagram: Vin Diesel began by talking about his daughter  but then said, "Give me a second and I will tell you everything...EVERYTHING!

On Facebook, in a live video, Thursday Vin Diesel began talking about watching the first cut of his upcoming xXX: Return of Xander Cage. He said, "Today is the day that I'm going to actually see the first cut of the Return of Xander Cage." The action superstar then talked about wrapping Fast 8 by stating that "it was an intense production".

He added, "I just wrapped Fast and Furious which was such an intense production. You'll see when you see the movie." He finally dropped the hint that everyone was anxiously waiting to hear by saying, "I will call you and tell you EVERYTHING!"  The actor dropped the same line and emphasized on "everything" on both videos that he shared on social media. He has promised to tell the Tall tale on a live video soon.

Can't wait till Vin diesel drops the rocky bomb.

Other notable cases of stars behaving badly

Dwayne Johnson is not the only star to talk bad about the costars.

In 2007 Katherine Heigl called her Knocked Up co-star Seth Rogan sexist. Seth Rogan of The Interview fame was shocked at first but, however, he has since accepted her apology for the criticism. Ms. Heigl praised her co-star by stating that Seth Rogan "handled it beautifully" well. In a statement, she said, "I think he has handled it so beautifully well. I feel nothing but love and respect." Maybe it was just a case of 'let bygones be bygones'.

The actor-director relationship between Kiera Knightly and John Carney soured when the director slammed his Begin Again actress.

The director blamed The Pirate of the Caribbean beauty for 'lacking singing skills' and accused Ms. Knightly's' entourage of getting in the way'. The Independent reported that the incident.

Perhaps the most shocking and the most famous co-star-rift  is between The Notebook costars - Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. Yes, you read that correctly. Ryan Gosling wanted to kick Rachel McAdams (Yes 'the' Rachel McAdams, the Bad Girl McAdams) from the iconic film set. They didn't get along well famously. The films' director talked about the time when Ryan Gosling asked him to swap Rachel McAdams for another actress.
