The celebrity ladies of the DWTS season 23 cast

Five ladies have been identified as Mirrorball Trophy contenders for the fall season, with one --the ostensible partner of returning pro Gleb Savchenko, who PureDWTS termed "unconfirmed, but likely" to participate-- still unknown to fans. The lucky ladies and their pro dance partners include:

  • The Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev
  • Actress Marilu Henner and Derek Hough
  • Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy
  • Fashion designer and model Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
  • Little Women: LA star Terra Jole and Sasha Farber

This portion of the DWTS 2016 cast list features two notable exclusions in two-time show winner Mark Ballas and The Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher.

Per Pure's sources, neither will compete during season 23. Ballas' exclusion ends his 18-season streak as a Dancing with the Stars pro; his show debut came during season five, when he danced with Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan.

  • NFL star Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold
  • Former Texas Governor Rick Perry and Emma Slater
  • Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke
