Another exciting news about the actress has surfaced now, as she has been roped in to do the part of aheroine in the upcoming movie Tubelight which has none other than salman khan in the lead role.

The news has been reported in various National Dailies like the Times of India, and it adds the credibility of this information.

This flick is being directed by Kabir Khan who has previously crafted three blockbuster movies with Sallu. The filmmaker has recently expressed his anticipations regarding this outing, and he told that this venture would showcase the muscular hunk in a contrasting light.

Earlier, many reports claimed that Kabir wanted to cast Katrina in this role, as she is his best friend.

But, Sallu was quite keen on casting the Baajirao Masatani girl, as he wished to have a new pair which is capable of impressing the audiences.

He believes that a new pair will be more suitable to give a different feel for the audience.

If recent reports are accurate, then Padukone will be soon joining the sets of this film for a 75-day schedule in Kashmir.

Some news also suggested that Ms. Padukone will again star with SRK in his next. But nothing has been confirmed yet.

In a recent post on Twitter, the master craftsman revealed that the filming would start by July 28, 2016.

He also shared some beautiful photographs of the place where most of the scenes will be shot.

Some other stories from the B-Town circles reveal that the starlet has also signed a new movie named Padamavati which will be helmed by acclaimed personality Sanjay Bhanusali.

He has reportedly asked for more than three months from the diva to complete the filming, and it will surely make it tough for the starlet to juggle between these two pictures. As per credible sources, the shooting of Sanjay directorial will begin from September.
