On Aug. 11, Grammy-nominated pop group 98 Degrees played the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Long Island as part of their 2016 "My2K" summer tour. They shared the bill with all-girl group Dream (best known for "He Loves U Not" and "This is Me"), O-Town ("All or Nothing" and "Liquid Dreams") as well as acoustic singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera (known for his smash hits "True" and "On the Way Down"). 98 Degrees is made up of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre.

'My2K' tour has a highly eclectic set-list

Their show was very versatile and entertaining, since it featured the popular 98 Degrees tunes, coupled with a medley of songs from their peers in the music industry.

They received the biggest reaction from such songs as the soft ballad "The Way You Want Me To," as well as their debut single "Invisible Man." Nick Lachey blew the roof off the venue when he sang his solot hit "What's Left of Me."

They had fun covering Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It," as well as their 90's medley, where they tipped their hats to such musical acts as Sugar Ray ("Fly"), Spice Girls ("Wannabe"), N' Sync ("Bye Bye Bye") and even pop princess Britney Spears by dusting off her breakthrough single "Baby One More Time." Their greatest cover song was their bold rendition of "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys.

The lovey-dovey portion of the show took place when they sang their soothing ballad "I Do (Cherish You)," and they ended their set on an upbeat note with "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)," which had a dance vibe to it. For their encore, they returned with another noteworthy vocal, "Because of You."

With this show at Westbury, 98 Degrees proved that they never left, since the fans still loved them as much as ever, as they sang every word verbatim. Their live show was high-energy, entertaining and infectious. They knew how to work the crowd.
