Robbie talks about being a Harry Potter fan

One can never guess what the researchers of a talk show will dig up when you agree to appear. This time, 'The Wolf of Wall Street' alum appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show just last week. The researchers managed to dig up a photo of Robbie when she was about 13, wearing Harry Potter-style glasses, which was shown to the audience. It was said to be sent in by one of her own friends.

The beautiful Aussie recounted that the photo was probably taken on her 13th birthday. Her hair was slicked-back, she had braces, and eyeglasses. Margot Robbie added that she celebrated her birthday by sitting in bed with a cup of tea, while enjoying J. K. Rowling's fifth book in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The 26-year-old star revealed that she lied during the peak of her fan stage to get a pair of eyeglasses like Harry Potter’s, even though she has 20/20 vision.

The actress also shared that she was completely comfortable with being a nerd. Being a geek could also be totally cool. For the filming of Tarzan, she was under the direction of David Yates, who happened to be the producer and director of the Harry Potter series, and a huge Harry Potter fanatic, the discussion of her childhood Harry Potter fandom was brought up.

The former was directed by David Yates (Harry Potter series), while the latter was directed by David Ayer and produced by Zack Snyder ('Man of Steel,' 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'). Margot Robbie played the role of Harley Quinn in 'Suicide Squad' and it is scheduled for release in August.
