Meghan King Edmonds is currently expecting a baby with her husband, former MLB pro Jim Edmonds, but it wasn't easy getting there. In addition to going through IVF in an effort to get pregnant, Meghan was lacking the support of her husband, who was forced to leave town as she endured the physically and emotionally draining experience.

Throughout the first several episodes of the 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan has been seen in the process of starting a family, and as the season continues, so will her journey. However, while many have expected to see husband Jim at her side as a doting dad, his demeanor has been far less enthusiastic.

In fact, Radar Online claimed on July 20 that he wants nothing to do with the process.

Is their trouble in paradise for Meghan and Jim?

Following Monday night's new episode of the Bravo reality show, Meghantook to her blog, where she expressed her disappointment in her husband's failure to get involved. While the reality star has since confirmed she and Jim are thrilled to be welcoming a child together, they appeared to hit a rocky patch during filming, which Meghan opened up about in a heartbreaking statement to fans.

As she recalled their recent on-screen moments, Meghan admitted to being frustrated that Jim wasn't acting interested in something that had consumed her life. The now pregnant reality star alsosaid it would have been nice if Jimhad paid more attention to what she was going through.

While Jim may appear less than enthused about Meghan King Edmonds' pregnancy on the show, the Real Housewives of Orange Countystar insisted to fans that his disinterest did not mean that he wasn't excited about the upcoming birth of their child. She then defended her husband, telling fans that he simply wasn't the researcher that she was.
