Lady Gaga was seen being pulled over by the police in Malibu just days ago for not having plates on her new van. The ‘Just Dance’ singer seems puzzled when being quizzed by the police about her driving papers. Lady Gaga was driving her brand new red van when she was pulled over by a cop.

In the photo the cop acts as though it is just another normal day for him, despite the fact he had pulled over and was questioning a very successful singer. The snaps show the cop looking at Gaga’s driving license which got just two weeks prior.

Lady Gaga tweets about her experience with being pulled over

The young singer took to Twitter to back herself up, she brushed it off very casually on Twitter, implying it was something minor, that did not really bother her, she tweeted saying “Ya I got pulled over. Big deal! I just haven’t received plates yet for my new pick up!” It was on Friday that the 30-year-old was pulled over whilst driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in California.

On 1st July Gaga announced she had finally received her license, she posted a shot on Instagram to share her happy news.

The photo shows Gaga sitting in her new ride with a friend, she wrote “Thelma and Puhleaaaze (And yes I FINALLY got my license, after years of driving with an adult present and a learners permit) IM FREE. Rolling with the homies.”

Lady Gaga may or may not have been charged for offense

It is unclear whether Gaga was charged or not but it is quite common for new vehicles to have temporary permits in California.

It usually takes weeks to receive permanent plates there so it is not a surprise that Gaga’s plates have also taken a long time to receive. No doubt Lady Gaga was keen to defend herself against potential rumors questioning her driving skills, seeing as she is a new driver, so she wanted to emphasize that it was just related to her plates, nothing more.

Coming up next for Gaga is her appearances in films such as Machete Kills and The Muppets, as well as working on a brand new album.
