Ugly Betty fans on Twitter are going crazy over the idea that the Suarez family could return to our screens for one final reunion. America Ferrera sparked the frenzy when she said that Hulu should bring Ugly Better back in a two hour special, her comment has launched a major hashtag rush on Twitter of #HuluBringBackUglyBetty urging the streaming giant to make a special reunion for the cast and fans. She made the comment on stage with the rest of the cast members at the ATX Television Festival last Saturday. Hearing the actress say this made the crowd scream and cheer as they were encouraged by Ferrara to hassle Hulu with tweets and hashtags in the hope that it might make something happen.

The comedy drama TV series, developed by Silvia Horta, was first released in 2006 and aired its last episode in 2010 after celebrating four successful seasons. The series is centered on geeky fashion magazine worker Betty Suarez who is less than easy on the eye as she wears covered shoes, braces, glasses and has frizzy hair. The series ended after viewer numbers dropped (from around 8.1million to 5.3million) and the show received low ratings, however it seems that the fan based seemed to increase since its cancellation and created a sort of cult following.
