It's been a big year for the only male Kardashian sibling and his new girlfriend, Blac Chyna. After a short and intense relationship, the two have since found out they were pregnant, became engaged, and now are planning for their very own reality show. The offer came to them from the minds behind hits like Keeping Up with the Kardashiansand I Am Cait.

Show to premiere on E!

After months of speculation and rumors, it was announced that Rob and Chyna's show (which will be titled Rob & Chyna) will be shown exclusively on the E! channel and produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, both of which are responsible for the massive hit Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which premiered in 2007.

Rob and Chyna will also be executive producers, and will still make appearances on KUWTK.

Though the premiere date has yet to be announced, E! says they've signed on for six one-hour episodes which will premiere sometime later this year, followed by a special about Rob and Chyna's new baby."Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna's, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place. We are excited to share the next chapter in their relationship," says E! executive Jeff Olde in a statement.

Rob and Chyna's road to engagement

Rob Kardashian, the youngest child of Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian Sr., came into the pop culture scene with the premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which documented the lives of him, his mother and (then) step-father, sisters, and his half-siblings.

A few years after the show's runaway success, Rob began to appear less and less on the show with his family and became moderately reclusive. When he was seen out, his physical appearance seemed to be slowly deteriorating.

By 2015, he had gained around 100 pounds and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

His family and representatives have credited his weight gain to a struggle with depression and anxiety that went undiagnosed for years. Friends of Rob's say that his new relationship with Chyna has been the healthiest of his life and that she has been extremely supportive of his journey back to health.

Blac Chyna first became a household name when she began dating the rapper Tyga, with whom she has a child. The pair met on the set of his music video, but broke up shortly after the birth of their son, reportedly due to rumors of Tyga's relationship with Kardashian's half-sister Kylie Jenner (Jenner and Tyga have recently called it quits). Chyna and Rob became close in late 2015 and began officially dating in January of 2016.
