Ishant Sharma, the Indian fast bowling spearhead got engaged to basketball player Prathima Singh in Delhi, on June 19, 2016.

Ishaant's fiancee has played for India in many International tournaments, while her sister Prashanti had captained the team.

Another sister Akankshaa is now a member of the national team, while elder sibling Priyenka works as a trainer in Patiala.

Sharma and Pratima have been known to each other for the past couple of years, and they were reportedly sharing a good rapport.

The 6'5'' pacer took his official Twitter handle to share the photo of his engagement, and quickly it was trolled by one of his friends and squad member, Rohit Sharma.

A funny Rohit messaged Ishant by saying that he should have trimmed his trademark lengthy hair at least in this auspicious moment.

He also wished all the best to the twosome who will shortly tie the knot.

At this time, readers should understand that Rohitt was also engaged recently to his girlfriend, Riteka Sajdah.

The tall, fast bowler is now not the part of the Indian cricket squad which is currently touring Zimbabwe for three ODIs and 3 T20s. The young gentleman is trying hard to affirm his spot for the West Indies series which will happen early after the African visit.

Ishant faced lots of criticisms in the initial months of 2015, as he continuously failed to keep up his momentum in bowling.
