By now, you've heard that Lil Wayne's flight was cut short due to a seizure. Earlier videos showed Wayne being taken from his private plane and rolled toward an awaiting ambulance via stretcher, on Omaha's Eppley Airfield.

Several thoughts and prayers transferred throughout the day on Wayne's behalf. Many of the Young Money mogul's fans had his best interest at heart.

At first, there were rumors that Lil Wayne had overdosed on codeine, and many believed that was the reason for his emergency landing in Omaha, Nebraska.

Yet, that wasn't what happened.

So, here is what happened to Wayne

Wayne had a spokesperson address the public in his absence.

Derek Sherron mentions, "As Wayne's reps, we can confirm that he did experience a minor seizure earlier this afternoon."

According to Mirror Online, Lil Wayne's plane was traveling from Wisconsin to California. Then, during Wayne's flight, he encountered the minor seizure resulting in the aforementioned emergency landing.

The source notes that Wayne's spokesperson elaborated more on the situation. Sherron states that — although he was taken to the CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center — the Young Money mogul is under the care and supervision of his own doctors. And, with that in mind, he's now in "stable condition and good spirits."

Mirror states that the hospital was contacted for a statement.

However, the facility responded by saying they didn't have any information for the news source at the time.

Did Wayne make a statement yet?

Since Wayne's recovery, the spokesperson also mentioned, "He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers, and well-wishes."

However, this isn't the first epileptic episode the rapper has undergone. As it turns out, in 2013, he revealed to Power 106 Los Angeles that he is prone to seizures.

Although this happened to Wayne during his plane's transport to California, it's good to know he's in better condition.

All in all, what do you think about Wayne's seizure incident? Were you worried? Were you like many others who thought Lil Wayne was dying from codeine overdose? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
