Gilmore Girls Revival has everyone anticipating its release date and we have just found out that we will be able to binge on all seven of the previous seasons on Netflix as of this Friday 1st July.

The original series aired over a period of 7 years, one season per year, from 2000 to 2007.

This is great news for the fans of the show in Stars Hollow, finally they will be able to relive the adventures and life dramas of Rory and Lorelai Gilmore who are played by Alexi Bledel and Lauren Graham.

The airing of the series on Netflix means that viewers will be able to spend the summer bingeing and recapping the episodes that they may not have seen since season 7 finished 9 years ago.

Watching the series on Netflix will mean that we will be all set and up to date with a fresh memory when it comes to the release of Gilmore Girls Revival: A Year in the Life.

Gilmore Girls Lorelai actress announces Netflix release

The Netflix announcement only came yesterday and reveals a date right around the corner, only two days away.

This announcement has since been spread and shared all over social networks and is accompanied by a short clip of one of the show’s main stars Lauren Graham who speaks to fans and says “Any place you can watch Netflix...you can watch Gilmore Girls, starting July 1st. You may have heard that new episodes of Gilmore Girls are coming to Netflix later this year, we can’t wait. Maybe you’ve seen Gilmore Girl or maybe you’ve never seen Gilmore Girls but always meant to watch it, either way now you can...starting July 1st”. Graham then finishes the short speech with “Welcome to Stars Hollow...careful...we talk fast!”

There will be a total of 153 episodes going up on Netflix, and it will be available in every country that Netflix is available in.
