Game of Thrones season 6 is said to be full of surprises and will end with cliff-hangers. The US broadcaster HBO website has revealed the episode titles of the last two episodes of the show’s sixth series and reveals that the final episodes will have a longer duration than usual. The 9th episode titled ‘The Battle of the Bastards’ and the 10th episode ‘The Winds of Winter’ are packed with twists and unexpected plots to air some of the most exciting battles to ever be televised.

The title of the penultimate episode of season six of the ‘Game of Thrones’ promises more than an avid fan would want to know.

In fact, ‘The Battle of the Bastards’ seems to reveal an imminent battle between illegitimate son of the house Stark, Jon Snow, and the king of house of Bolton, Ramsay Bolton. Both are aimed for the Northern territory, along with obtaining honour from the house and possession of Stark of Winterfell. The episode has been lengthened to allow for the scenes of what is shaping up to be the most important battle that we have ever seen on Television. The total duration of the episode is 60 minutes and fans simply cannot wait!

Entitled like the sixth novel of the saga of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ by George RR Martin, the tenth and last episode of the sixth season of Game of Thrones is even longer than the previous one, taking the episode to 69 minutes which is the longest episode yet.
