Model Spotlight: Breezee Morrison

Breezee Morrison is more than just a mom. She's more than just a wife, a minister, and a great model. She's on a constant pageant binge, finding the glamour irresistible. It seems that each time a pageant comes along, she enters it and competes with all the other beautiful models. Currently holding the title of Mrs. West Valley, she is scrambling to get ready for the Mrs. Arizona America 2016 pageant which is scheduled for Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona. I asked Breezee a few questions while we shot some portfolio photos and here’s what she had to say:

Michael J Wells: Where are you from originally?

Breezee Morrison: Big Island, Hawai’i.

MJW: Briefly describe your home life.

BM: Jesus is the center of my home. I strive to reflect his light daily.

MJW: How did you get into modeling in the first place?

BM: My dad enrolled me in modeling school to help build my confidence. I was a very shy, insecure little girl. Modeling school taught me poise, and how to reflect beauty from the inside out.

MJW: Are you currently signed with an agency?

BM: I’m not represented by an agency…yet.

MJW: Why do you prefer pageant modeling, rather than fashion/catwalk or promotional modeling, etc.?

BM: What draws me to pageantry is how it honors goal oriented woman that utilizes their influence to impact the community.

MJW: Briefly describe a fun photo shoot that you were on.

BM: My favorite photo shoots are action shots. When I’m able to act out the art, rather than pose for it is what makes it fun.

MJW: Favorite model/inspiration?

BM: My favorite model inspiration is Naomi Campbell and Kimora Lee. I can physically identify myself in some way through both of these ladies.

MJW: How are you able to stay fit for your year-round modeling?

BM: I stay in shape by keeping an active lifestyle. I do not have a set routine. I struggle with food allergies, so eating out is not a privilege for me. I prep my meals to help me stay discipline.

MJW: What is it that you love so much about modeling?

BM: What keeps me motivated about modeling is the art. You can tell a story by a glance, smile, and ambiance. It is the art of telling a story that I love most about modeling.

MJW: What are your goals for the next five years or so; where do you see yourself?

BM: I am a couple years shy of 40 yrs old. My goal is to represent beauty well into my 40’s, 50’s, and then some.

MJW: What is your favorite charity or cause?

BM: My favorite charity is New Life Center. As a domestic violence survivor it is important to have a place of refuge to reestablish your life. New Life Center provides such a place.

MJW: What was your most rewarding experience?

BM: My most rewarding experience is when I married my husband.

I have experienced love far more then I could’ve imagined. He is my fairytale that people told me was just in my imagination.

MJW: We wish you the best of luck and can't wait to see how you do at the pageant.
