G V Prakash Kumar's new movie 'Pencil' hit the screens all around Tamil Nadu on April 22, 2016.

The film which is touted to be a romantic tale in the backdrop of school has succeeded in impressing both audiences and critics, and it is slowly turning out to be the third hit in a row for GVP after 'Darling' and 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara'.

According to initial reports from Tamilnadu, most of the multiplexes have witnessed an attendance of 70% and more which is quite good for a movie which has a star with less power in the lead role.
