On April 1st, 80's cover band Jessie's Girl played a show at The Paramount in Huntington in New York, for a great turnout. They had the Long Island audience with them every step of the way.

Jessie's Girl: A versatile set-list

The group commenced their set with an introduction of "Final Countdown" and they immediately broke into the up-tempo "Working for the Weekend." The empowering "Any Way You Want It" was the quintessential sing-along tune. The band noted that the show was sold-out and they continued with their namesake song "Jessie's Girl."

Chris Hall from the band sang lead vocals on George Michael's "Faith," while Jenna O'Gara coveredWhitney Houston with a powerhouse version of the late singer's hit single "How Will I Know." Mark Rinzel sang lead on the Police classic "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic."Christook over on"You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)," while Jenna invited the ladieson stage to sing along with her on theCyndi Lauper party anthem "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."

After covering Journey's "Separate Ways,"Jenna paid homage to "The Material Girl" Madonna with "Like a Prayer." Equally impressive were the follow-up numbers"Under Pressure," "We Built This City" and "Africa." Chris and Jenna performeda stellar collaborationon Eddie Money's "Take Me Home Tonight," andthe crowd sang along with them on the classic "Shook Me All Night Long."

Jenna showcased her tremendous lung power on her version of Heart's "What About Love," and then the group performed "Video Killed The Radio Star" and they closed their set with "Don't You (Forget About Me)" and on an inspirational note with "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey.


Jessie's Girl put on a fun and entertaining concert at The Paramount on Long Island, and they were able to taketheir fanson a trip down memory lane to the 80's with these pop classics. The entire Jessie's Girl band was remarkable as a whole. They are worth checking out next time they are playing in town. Their concert garnered an A rating.
