The Beyoncé Super Bowl performance was a hit during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show that she shared with the British band Coldplay, as well as singer Bruno Mars. She also used the performance to announce her “The Formation World Tour,” which is set to start ticket sales February 9 for American Express Card members, and February 16 for everyone else.

Her “The Formation World Tour” is scheduled to begin in Miami, Florida on April 27, and after that she will play 21 other cities, such as New York, Chicago, Dallas, and more. “Formation” is the singer’s first time doing a solo performance in over a year.

Beyoncé Super Bowl performance speaks to her roots

The single "Formation" is a tribute to the singer’s black heritage and culture, and takes listeners to many places, such as New Orleans after Katrina hit, as well as to area stores, shops and a scene with a police car. That said, the song is seen by some as a form of musical activism. The singer is seen as a strong black woman that others can look up to, as well as being a successful singer and prominent cultural figure of the times.

Beyoncé used the platform to show her alignment with the Black Lives Matter movement, which caused some listeners to be upset, but others say she is just showing pride in her heritage and is not apologetic about it.

With this she is said to have “evolved” in her music and so she uses her music to motivate her fans.

Lada Gaga, Coldplay and Bruno Mars also perform

The other two acts that appeared during the halftime show were the British Band Coldplay, and singer Bruno Mars. Plus, Lada Gaga was lauded for her suburb rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at the beginning of the game between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos were the winning team by a score of 24 to 10.

It was a game that had champions on both the field of play and during the halftime show, as theperformance caused some to think, while the skills of the Football players brought football fans a lot of excitement and heroic moments.
