One Direction promised a career break, which they called a musical hiatus. After five very successful years, the British band will take a break early next year. But after Zayn Malik's departure, fans are fearing that other members might do the same and try a solo career. The band was on Alan Carr's 'Chatty Man' talk show and they were conclusive about their future. Louis Tomlinson said that they will be 18 months out and Harry Styles assured he won't try a solo career and at the end of the gap, the four British boys will be back to make the Music they love, together as a band.

Louis Tomlinson reveals when they'll be back

They announced a few months ago that they would stop to rest at the beginning of 2016.

But they could not anticipate how long it would be. After releasing the fifth album 'Made in the A.M', which is proving to be another great sales success, the band formed in the X Factor UK needs to stop, to do new things, to live new experiences and then to return with even more desire and inspiration to make their music.

Fans who are still frightened by Zayn Malik's departure are fearing the worst, but now, since they accepted their decision, they only hope for their idols to come back. "Let’s give it 18 months," Tomlinson said, quoted by HollywoodLife.com. The British guys are expecting to have some time for themselves and for their families.

For Niall Horan, who is the rumored Selena Gomez new boyfriend, the time off will feel great: "This time last year I couldn’t have told you what I was doing, and that is what we are looking forward to.

Harry Styles gets upset about fake rumors

Lately, its been rumored that Harry Styles will take this break to launch a solo career. But, for the 21-year-old, this could not be further from the truth. “Yeah it’s bulls–t. We all write kind of separately and for other people and do stuff and bring it back, and that is it really," he said during the interview.
