Ben Affleck, the actor impersonating the newest Batman, talked about the movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and about the CEO of Warner Bros Studios. The studio’s new big hit is the superhero movie which is to be released next March, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Ben Affleck.

“I won’t equivocate: I think there is a ton of pressure on this film. (...) If it doesn’t go well, it will be a huge disappointment” – the actor said, but he didn’t reveal what could be considered as success in the case of the mentioned production: “I let the professionals decide about it” – he added.

It came up in Variety’s article that 2015 doesn’t seem to be a successful year for Warner (for example, see the failure of The Rise of Jupiter, Pan, or Our Brand is Crisis starring Sandra Bullock), but Affleck is very optimistic about the studio’s future.

“You’ll see next year they are going to have a great year. They are now developing probably the single greatest under-exploited intellectual property asset in the entertainment business, the DC Comics movie world. Now they have started to exploit that and we are going to see that blossom. And, when it does, it’s going to be really spectacular” – the actor/director said.

Affleck talked only in superlatives about Warner’s CEO, Kevin Tsujihara. Allegedly, Tsujihara participated in the development of the screenplay, and the actor thinks he had very intelligent visions.

“He was not like some guys, especially at that level, where it would be, that we need a franchise movie with the names ‘Batman’ and ‘Superman’ on it and it doesn’t matter what it is about. For him, that wasn’t it. He was willing to take longer to make a movie of an excellent quality” – the new Batman praised his new “boss”.

We don’t doubt the honesty of the star’s words, but his enthusiasm is understandable as he will be a member of the Warner “family” for a long time. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be in both Justice League movies (The Justice League Part One, Justice League Part Two), and before that he will appear as Batman/Bruce Wayne in Suicide Squad which is to be released next August. In addition, the independent Batman movie has also been announced which will be directed by him.
