The show has been on television since 2013 and has proven to be a huge success both with viewers and critics and the series recently received its first Primetime Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Variety Sketch Series beating old time favorite Saturday Night Live and the final season of the popular Key & Peele.

The show also received a nomination for Amy Schumer in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, but she ultimately lost the award to critics favorite and four time consecutive winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus for her role on the HBO comedy Veep.A fun fact is that Julia Louis-Dreyfus recently appeared on Inside Amy Schumer in the hilarious bit Last f**kable day, alongside with Tina Fey and recent Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette, and the sketch already has more than 4 million views on Youtube.

But the comedian's success doesn’t stop on the small screen: in 2015, she had her first feature film lead role debut in the box office hit comedy Trainwreck, alongside Bill Hader and Tilda Swinton, with the movie making over $100 million in revenue.

More recently, the comedian made an appearance as first time host of Saturday Night Live in a memorable episode that featured Amy doing a very racy and controversial opening monologue and showing throughout the show her funny talents, even bringing along one of the characters of her show to SNL, with the popular Toddlers and Tiaras parody and fan favorite 6-year-old AmyMerryweatherSherman.
