The TV show is a direct follow up to the movie and it keeps the premise of a person withthe sudden power given by a mysterious drug called NZT-48 which increases his IQ to four digits and gives him perfect recall of everything he has ever read, heard, or seen.

Pretty cool abilities that are sure to be the formula of a must watch show.
