Donald Trump has less than two weeks until the results of the U.S. presidential election are announced and now someone has taken to his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a pick-ax and sledgehammer. It happened at 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning, when a man headed down to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and took serious aim at The Donald’s star.

A man by the name of Jamie Otis admits that he headed down to Hollywood Boulevard, dressed to look like a construction worker, and went straight to the coveted five-pointed star, located close to the Dolby Theater.

Otis was planning on auctioning off Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star

According to a report by Deadline, Otis told them his original plan had been to remove the star and auction it off in New York, intending to raise money for the many women who are claiming Trump has sexually assaulted them over the years. Just in the last few months, 11 women have come forward with accusations against the Republican presidential candidate. The Donald has denied all these accusations, stating that he plans to sue the women after the November 8 election.

When Otis had no success removing the star, he ended up smashing it to pieces. Apparently while Hollywood Boulevard is busy during the daytime, at the time Otis approached the star, there was no-one around, giving him the chance to do his thing.

Not the first time someone has attacked Donald Trump's Star of Fame

As the International Business Times mentions, this isn’t the first time someone has attacked Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Soon after he announced his intention to run for the presidency, several others have taken action, with one person painting a reverse swastika on the star and an L.A. street artist, who built a razor-wire topped wall around the award, in reference to Trump’s claims that he will build a wall to keep the Mexicans out of the U.S.

A recent petition was also launched, calling for the removal of the Donald Trump star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but apparently the Chamber of Commerce has said it is staying – now everyone has to wait and see whether they will replace the smashed original, as officials estimate it will cost between $3,000-$10,000 to repair.
