To many she is known as B Angie B (and also the Queen Of Dance). Often referred to as MC Hammer's protege, she was signed to his label Bust It records (which was under Capital records). Her self titled debut album was released in 1991, and she first hit the scene with her smash single "I Don't Want To Lose Your Love," which hit the charts alongside her album debuting at #11 on the Billboard Hip-hop/R&B charts and #132 on the Pop charts. More recently, she has been working on new music with a brand new industry producer.

Angie and producer James Worthy were spotted recently at The Music Room in Atlanta debuting the latest single "Shake," which is scheduled to release Jan 22nd of 2016.

In speaking of Mr. Worthy, he has worked with some of the biggest and greatest artists the industry has to offer, including: Truth Hurts, Bobby Brown, Mike Jones, Robin S, T-Pain, 112, Bobby Valentino, Sara Stokes, just to name a few. He will be featured on a brand new television series entitled 'From The Bottom Up" airing on BET Centric Jan 16th.

By description, this new song is a blend of an urban R&B twist and Hip/Hop, sounding very different from what we're used to hearing from Angie, produced by James Worthy and production partner Goodro. It seems that Worthy & Angie have great creative chemistry together when working in the studio (which is really important when making music). For all B Angie B fans out there, be on the lookout for "Shake" which will be available everywhere Jan 22nd in all distribution outlets for purchase.

Bust It/Capitol released a few songs from B Angie B's album as singles, including "So Much Love" and remakes of two ‘70s soul classics: Rufus & Chaka Khan's "Sweet Thing" and the Emotions' "I Don't Want to Lose Your Love." Although the latter became a minor hit, Angie's sales didn't satisfy Capitol, and she ended up being dropped.

Fast forwarding to the new year, Angie is now working on a new project and fans should expect new material in the near future.
