The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took time off to spend Tuesday evening at the Natural History Museum in London watching “The Wider Earth.” The Duchess is in an advanced stage of pregnancy and is expecting her first child this spring. This is the time in the life of any would-be mother when she has to keep her mind free of tension. She deserves praise for the way she has mastered the art of ignoring those who try to criticize her lifestyle and want to take credit for predicting the unpredictable.
People reports that the play is about a subject that is close to their hearts.
Its theme is protecting forests around the world. Once inside the museum, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met donors and children. They also went around the museum taking in the exhibits. One of these was the first copy of Charles Darwin’s book "On The Origin of Species."

It is all about caring for the environment
“The Wider Earth” is a play showing at the Natural History Museum in London. The story relates to the journey Charles Darwin had in the HMS Beagle. The event was to extend support to the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.
Prince Harry is closely associated with it as the president. He is also the production’s official charitable partner whose objective is to conserve indigenous forests across the globe. Incidentally, there was an accident in 2017 outside this museum when a car plowed into people and injured many of them.
People.com says the name of the charity is The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy (QCC).
During the royal tour to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were deeply involved in spreading the message about the preservation of forests. The royal couple has included caring for the environment as a core area for their involvement. They have plans to go on a short visit to Morocco at the end of the month.
Conservation of nature and wildlife
Harpers Bazar adds that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a gala performance of the play “The Wider Earth” at London's Natural History Museum. The play highlights the importance of taking care of the environment and the Royal couple is promoting this concept. The Queen's Commonwealth Trust extends support to young leaders on a global basis to work for the conservation of forests.
The latest outing of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to the museum comes after the Endeavor Fund Awards that honors ill and injured veterans. Harry has his own charity Invictus Games for war veterans and Meghan was seen for the first time in public during her appearance at the 2017 games in Toronto.
