Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom is a popular event that tends to sell out quickly, and 2016 is no exception. However, there are still a few dates available if you buy your tickets quickly. You can still attend the event for an unforgettable evening of trick or treating at the premiere Walt Disney World theme park on October 25, 27, or 28.

Special Halloween entertainment

While trick or treating is a popular party of #Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, the entertainment is also a big draw. From the Hocus Pocus stage show to the HalloWishes fireworks and Boo to You Parade, it's always a full night at the Magic Kingdom when you attend the party.

It's a hard ticket event, which means that admission costs extra, but it's well worth it for the extras that create a holiday experience to remember for kids and adults alike (yes, even "big kids" get to collect a bagful of candy).

Get into the Magic Kingdom early

If you purchase tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you don't need a day ticket for the Magic Kingdom, as it starts after the park closes to day guests. Better yet, even though the event officially starts at 7 p.m., you can get in with your special ticket as early as 4 p.m. That gives you time to enjoy some of the rides early so you can focus your time on holiday-related activities in the evening. If you really want to ride some more, many of the major attractions are open during the event, too.

Disney Christmas party is around the corner

If you didn't manage to get tickets for the Halloween party for your preferred date this year, or if you attended it and loved it so much that you want to return for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, tickets are available now for the latter Walt Disney World event, which also takes place in the Magic Kingdom.

It starts on November 7 and runs on select nights throughout the holiday season, wrapping up on December 22. Buy your tickets early so you're not disappointed by a sell-out on your preferred date.
