Halloween Horror Nights 26 at Universal Orlando Resort is shaping up to be a real screamfest.The event, which runs on select nights from September 16 to October 31 this year, already has The Walking Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Exorciston tap. Now Universal has invited Michael Myers to rejoin the event's ranks as a follow-up to his successful terrorization of guests back in 2014.

The 2014 haunted maze was based on the first Halloweenmovie.

Following in the footsteps of proper sequel rules, the 2016 house centers on the big screen follow-up. It will feature a knife-wielding Michael Myers, back from his presumed death at the end of the first film and ready to get his bloody revenge. Chance takes over Universal Studios Florida

Gore fans are already salivating in rabid anticipation of the 2016 event because this is the year when Chance, Jack the Clown's psychotic girlfriend, takes the reins as the event icon.

Jack had a good run with the event last year, but Chance is a crowd favorite who's always been in the background while her boyfriend hogged the glory. Halloween Horror Nights 26 is her season to shine. You can see that she's ready in the video below:

The Halloween haunt season starts just as the busy summer theme park seasonwinds down. While some fall visitors to Orlando prefer tamer events, like the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, this annual celebration of mayhem has a loyal legion of fans who Travel from around the United States, and even internationally, to get their thrills by being spooked in the scare zones and tortured in the hallways of the haunted mazes.

Tickets are already on sale for one night, multiple nights, or various combinations that let guests visit throughout the season. For the first time, there's even an option that grants admission to every night of the event. Visitors traveling to Orlando for the event can purchase special packages that include their hotel and admission to the event. Tickets and vacation packages are available online on the event website.
