Wine and dine in beautiful Miami

The beautiful and historic Fontainebleau Miami Beach is starting its Cellar 1954 Wine & Dinner Series on Saturday, January 23rd. Entering its third year, the series pairs the world's most prestigious wines and winemakers with the award-winning cuisine of Fontainebleau. Men should go to this event with their best wardrobe, ready to socialize and enjoy company over five courses of food. The lavish confines of the hotel, together with their great restaurants is a treasure that any Miami native should frequent.

Darioush Khaledi (proprietor of the Napa Valley winery) will be presenting his wine to be paired with hors d'oeuvres like snapper crudo, heirloom tomatoes with basil and/or roasted beets with hazelnut, dried cherries, and goat cheese. Move on to the first course of chilled Maine lobster, eco-friendly fish, the second course of air-dried crispy duck breast, third of wood-grilled wagyu skirt steak, and finally dessert -- spiced pineapple rum-infused savarin, vanilla-caradamom cremeux. The dinner will begin at 8:00 p.m.

and reservations are required. The price of admission is $225 but consider this, Darioush wine bottles range from $48 to $80 dollars and dinner at StripSteak is expensive.

The third course of Wagyu skirt steak on the usual is $48, and a half Lobster tail is $22. An equivalent to the crispy duck breast is the Long Island duck listed at $44.Each course will be wonderfully paired with the wine which calls out to people who wish to become more savvy in recognizing wines.

For others who enjoy eating food from well-known Chefs, the Chef de cuisine for Stripsteak is Mr. Derrick Roberts, a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City and the Baan Thai Cookery school and Somphone cooking school in Thailand. He was the Chef de Cuisine at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (one of the world's most exclusive restaurants in New York City). So, come with a cleansed palette and an empty stomach, and be prepared to enjoy a night of fine dining at the Fontainebleau.
