Playing the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" game will provide excitement for all the avid fighting fans this fall season. The release of DLC Pack 5 is imminent and Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed additional content details on the upcoming expansion for the popular fighting title.

In the newest scan of the V-Jump magazine, the game publisher confirmed the free update, paid DLC costumes, and new playable characters that will be added to the game really soon. The same issue also confirmed Nappa and Captain Ginyu as the new fighters that will join the fighting roster of the upcoming 2.5D fighting game, “Dragon Ball FighterZ.”

Free update

Fans will be delighted to know that game developer, Dimps, is offering a free update that contains a new story mode called “Hero Colosseum.” This story content will let players play against each other using different figures.

It was announced earlier that Dabura and Buu (Gohan-Absorbed) will also arrive to join the fray in "DBX 2." Players are expecting that these two will be added for free [VIDEO]as well. They said that these characters should have been part of the roster in the main game when it launched in October 2016.

New playable characters

Apart from Dabura and Buu, the studio is also adding Android 13 and Tapion as the newest DLC 5 characters. Players will have to pay for these fighters, but the pricing details and the release date are not yet known at the moment.

Notably, these two fierce warriors come from separate “Dragon Ball Z” films. Android 13 appeared in “Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13” as the titular villain in the film. Tapion, on the other hand, is the iconic hero who starred in “Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon.”

New Costumes

Moreover, the fifth, and what is assumed as the final DLC pack, will also contain some costumes available for purchase.

These clothes include an outfit from Universe 11’s Dragon Ball Super! Represented” for Toppo, who leads the Pride Troopers. The other costume is intended for Magical Girl, Ribrianne, from Universe 2.

The DLC Pack 5 currently has no exact release date, however, it is expected to arrive within the fall season. The fighting title based on the “Dragon Ball” anime series was first made available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in October 2016.

In September, “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” was launched on Nintendo Switch [VIDEO]. This version enables gamers to use the Joy-Con controller, perform the famous Kamehameha move using gestures, and includes other special features.
