The much-awaited release of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” on the Nintendo Switch starts on September 22. Players across North America and Europe can now enjoy the fighting title on their hybrid consoles. Fans on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One all over the world are also waiting for the release of the game’s DLC pack 5. The downloadable content is confirmed to include two new playable characters—Dabura and Gohan-Absorbed Buu.

While Nintendo Switch users are now enjoying the game, it appears that there is something from the first game installment that is hidden within the sequel. If you have not discovered it yet, the Story Mode of “Xenoverse” is on the Switch version of the game.

Hidden feature

Bandai Namco Entertainment is busy promoting the latest motion controls of the Nintendo Switch that enables players to do Kamehameha using their own hands with their Joy-Cons. However, it appears that there is another feature in “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” that is not advertised by the game publisher. On YouTube, a user named Ndukauba shared this significant discovery.

According to the YouTube user, the Story Mode of “Xenoverse” is included in the Switch version of the game, but it is hidden. Ndukauba on his video showed the valuable tips on how to access the Story Mode and unlock the content.

How to access

The player needs to find the Capsule Corp robot named Waipa. A purple scroll is normally found above its head, which needs to be selected in order to interact with it. The robot can be found near Elder Kai. Once it starts talking to the player, Waipa will tell that the player is now allowed to take the Legend Patrol Quest. This is the Story Mode of the first game installment. It is important to note that the player cannot access the sagas in “Xenoverse” if the player is not able to finish its counterpart saga in “Xenoverse 2.”

There are several notable changes that developer Dimps has made to the Switch version of the game.

This includes the Super Armor being replaced by a larger amount of Health. The “Xenoverse” Story Mode along with the motion controls are exclusive features for the Nintendo Switch.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Entertainment recently confirmed that the much-awaited DLC Pack 5 would be available on all platforms. This means that “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” players using PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch can enjoy the upcoming expansion pack.
