A new fortress action ninja battle game is coming to Android and iOS. “Naruto X Boruto: Borutage” is announced as an upcoming mobile strategy game that will be released in 2017.

The Japanese weekly magazine Jump reveals a new action ninja battle game for anime fans. The “Naruto x Boruto: Borutage” will be a free-to-play title with micro-transactions. The game will task players to build a fortress and fight against opponents across Japan. Players have the ability to set up traps and throw surprise attacks to the enemies. Traps can also be used along with comrades to protect and secure the fortress.

According to the Japanese publication, the upcoming game, “Naruto x Boruto: Borutage” will have a super-high quality illustration.

The current information is that it will only be released in Japan. Fans are expecting that the game will also be made available in regions across the globe.

Going West

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco previously announced that the “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy” and “Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy” is going to be released in North America and Europe on August 25. The games will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy” will include all four entries from the popular series. This includes the “Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto. [VIDEO]” It will be available in both physical and digital versions.

Aside from these, the game will be available in a premium box, along with a special art book. Also included is the exclusive 12-minute anime of Boruto’s interesting adventure.

On the other hand, the other versions of the game including the “Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy” that will feature the first, second, and third game installments, will only be available in digital versions. This version is intended for fans that already have the Road to Boruto title.

In other news, Crunchyroll has recently announced that the original Naruto anime series will get an expanded availability. The popular anime series based on the Manga created by Masashi Kishimoto will be available to other regions and countries for all users of Crunchyroll. Episodes between 1 and 220 of the original anime series will be available in regions and countries such as United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

It can now be watched in Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Italy, and San Marino. Fans in Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, and Spain will now have the chance to watch their favorite anime series. Other places such as the Middle East and North Africa, Central America, and South America can now watch the anime.
