Chair of the U.S. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System raised the overnight federal funds rate by 25 basis points to a range of 0.75 to 1.00 percent in a widely anticipated move today, which marks the second of several marking renewed confidence in the U.S. economy on the part of Ms. Yellen.
