London police department was alerted when a van drove into people on the London Bridge on June 3. Apart from using a vehicle, the attackers also stabbed people and this, combined with the chaos that ensued, led to multiple injuries according to police reports. In an updated report, Associated Press said that six people were killed and the attackers were shot by the police. Meanwhile, investigators believe that it is once again, a terrorist attack.
Armed officers immediately responded to the location where many bars and restaurants are located.
London Ambulance Service confirmed that there were more than 20 people who were taken to the hospital.
Horrific attack
The incident on the London Bridge caught the immediate attention of Prime Minister Theresa May. In an early report, it was said that she is set to chair a meeting which pertains to emergency committees of the city. Meanwhile, Sadiq Khan, the London Mayor, called the incident a coward attack on Londoners.
Meanwhile, some of the eyewitnesses of the incident revealed that they saw about three or four people who jumped out of the van. The vehicle was said to hit the bridge initially, mowing down pedestrians. After that, the attackers rushed into the Borough Market. Later on, gunshots were heard and some photos posted on social media featured one of the attackers in the food market.
The Sacramento Bee cited tha Guardian as saying that Gerard Vowls, "...saw a woman being stabbed by three men at the south end of London Bridge. He said he threw chairs, glasses and bottles at the attackers in a bid to stop them."
Medical staff, police respond
Aside from the three or four people that were seen by some witnesses, further reports reveal that at least one of them carried a knife in his hand and rushed into a bar which was packed with people who were enjoying their night out.
The Police Department of London responded immediately with numbers of emergency vehicles to help save the public from danger.

Numbers of medical staff also attended to the wounded victims following the attack. Further, a helicopter was also spotted meters away from the London Bridge, which is the center of the City Business District.
In an initial report issued by the police department, the attack is believed to be another Act Of Terrorism.
It was exactly 10:08 p.m. local time when the vehicle incident was reported and it was quickly followed by the stabbing of innocent victims.
