Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is launched again but this time with the Microsoft edition. It is the same as the Samsung Galaxy S8 which was released in mid-November and a lot of the features of the Smartphone are similar to those of the Galaxy Note 8 in Android edition.This phone has Android skin but in the Play store, there is Microsoft launcher which is same as that of a PC.The launcher will have all the features of Microsoft and they are more user-friendly. A special thing about this launcher is that you can use it on any Android device.

Apps available on this phone:

  • As the phone is available in the Microsoft edition all Office apps are included and this will give you the feeling of having a PC.
  • The main aim is on productivity apps such as Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and Word
  • Users will have the Cortana as well as Samsung’s Bixby personal assistant and it will be users choice which assistant to use, this makes the phone much better.

Hardware:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has 6.3 inches Super AMOLED display and its resolutions are 2960 pixels x 1440 pixels.
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset with eight 64-bit CPU cores and Adreno 540 graphics chip.
  • This phone has 6GB of RAM and internal storage of 64GB. It has a micro SD card slot which can be expanded up to 64GB.
  • The battery is non-removable and its capacity is 3300 mAh and other features are its fast charging and wireless charging, so makes phone fully featured.
  • The camera is one of the most important features of the phone. Samsung has built in a 12 MP camera on the back side of the phone with OIS, phase detection, and autofocus. Software:

  • The phone has Microsoft launcher on the top with Android’s Nougat 7.1.1 and also may give the update of latest Android 8 i.e. Oreo in next few months.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 does not come with the models of 128 GB or 256 GB and I don’t think they will be available for much longer.

So you have only one option but this phone is user-friendly.

Another thing about the phone is that you do not get any other color option; currently, it is available only in black. Overall, the phone is packed with a lot of features and if you want a Samsung phone with Microsoft’s Office then this phone is the most obvious choice.
