Samsung kicked off the pre-order of its latest device on August 24, with a $930 price tag. Customers who will pre-order the smartphone will be offered by the company with a Samsung Gear 360 or a wireless charging pod.

According to SamMobile, during the first day, the device acquired nearly 400,000 pre-orders and 550,000 pre-orders on the second day. However, the tech giant is planning to sell around 700,000 Galaxy Note 8 units during the first month of its official release. 65 percent of all the device’s pre-orders were accounted for the 64GB variant and most customers chose the Deep Sea Blue color.

Improved Bixby AI assistant

The new handset is the company’s huge mobile device comeback story, which is making up for the fiasco of the Note 7. The success of the Galaxy Note 8 could point to its 6.4-inch Infinity display, 6GB of RAM, improved Bixby AI personal assistant and its impressive dual camera setup. The 6GB of RAM of the smartphone will allow users to open multiple apps in succession.
