Microsoft was long rumored to launch its Xbox One X Gaming console at the Gamescom platform. After finally taking the wraps off it at the event yesterday, the console is now available for pre-orders. Unfortunately, the shipping won’t begin until November 7 this year. The Xbox X One is available on Microsoft’s official website, third-party retailers, and Amazon, at a starting price of $499.

Special edition of Xbox One X

As reported by Tech Radar, Microsoft also announced at the event that the company would be seen introducing a Special Edition of its Xbox One X in order to mark the anniversary of its Project Scorpio code name.

This along with the original Xbox One X will be is being made available for pre-orders currently. The main difference between the original Xbox One X and the special edition one is that the latter sports customizable graphic patterns with a print that reads, ‘Project Scorpio,’ all across it. Moreover, the special edition version also comes included with an exclusive stand.

The Xbox One X special edition version is also priced at $499. For those who are interested in purchasing the special edition consoles, better hurry because nature limits them. In other words, they will only be available for purchase until stocks last. Microsoft also took the wraps off Xbox One S – a lighter version of its original Xbox One X gaming console.

The primary attraction of Xbox One S is that it comes with its own new bundle. It has been given the title, "Shadow of War," and is expected to launch on October 10. The gaming console features either a 500GB or 1TB Xbox One S console. The device also comes with the new game called, "Middle Earth: Shadow of War,” bundled with it.

Additionally, the console also consists of a complimentary one-month-long Xbox gaming pass along with a 14-day-long Xbox Live Gold trial pack, which provides gamers with the option of accessing the international multiplayer gaming network from the comfort of their homes.

Price of the device

The console that features 1TB comes at a price of $349; meanwhile, the 500GB bundle is available for a starting price of $279.

Like mentioned previously, Microsoft chose to launch its Xbox One X gaming console at Gamescom, which is among the top annual gaming events worldwide. This year’s event witnessed a whole lot of new introductions, which also included the launch of games and gaming hardware. Stay tuned.
