US carrier Verizon only recently confirmed that they would be making the latest Asus Zenfone AR available for purchase on their official website, starting immediately. The Chinese technology giant has now revealed that they will also be introducing a special unlocked version of its flagship Tango-enabled smartphone exclusively to the U.S. markets.
According to the information made available on the website, it appears that users will be able to purchase the unlocked version in both the configurations made available by the company, at a slightly higher price i.e.
$599. At the time of the launch, the company introduced two new variants where one came equipped with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage at a starting price of $599, with the other one having 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage, at a base price of $699. Users have the option of expanding the memory in both the smartphones, which is an added benefit.
