T-Mobile has officially made its speculated REVVL smartphone available for public viewing. The upcoming smartphone’s design and specifications have been revealed by the company via its support pages on the official website. The firm has announced that they will be introducing their REVVL smartphone on August 10Th this year. The company, however, did not make any mention of the price as of yet; but many leading reports claim that the smartphone will be priced at $7 per month. The promotional poster that the company published suggests that the listed price will only be available for a limited period of time.

TCL and T-Mobile's collaboration

The US carrier has long been rumored to be working on the REVVL. As the reports suggests, the primary manufacturer of the smartphone is TCL, however, the device will be seen as carrying the T-Mobile official branding. The smartphone hasn’t been announced as of yet, but, the leading rumors and speculations have revealed enough information regarding the device in order for the fans to have a good idea of what can be expected. In May, multiple sources close to the matter claimed that T-Mobile is working not on one, but three smartphones for launch this year. These were described by many reports as REVVL T1, REVVL T2 and REVVL T3 PRO respectively, and were speculated to fall in different price segments.

Qualcomm quad-core powered device

It is still not known whether the latest T-Mobile smartphone that emerged recently is among the three mentioned above. The firm hasn’t made any confirmation regarding this rumor. As for the specifications of the latest smartphone, the device packs a 5.5-inch display with 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution.

On the storage front, the smartphone offers 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage, and is further powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core 1.5GHz processor. Camera-wise, the smartphone is expected to pack a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front shooter as well. The smartphone is also heavily speculated to come along with a fingerprint scanner, which will most probably be located on the rear panel of the smartphone, right next to the camera module.

The device is also further expected to house a 3,000mAh battery and will run on the not-so-latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The smartphone is also expected to come with the support for storage expansion by up to 128GB.
