The Lenovo-backed Motorola is expected to announce its Moto X4 Android smartphone soon. Speculations and rumors have provided tech enthusiasts a vague idea of what can be expected from the mobile device. However, Evan Blass has provided a new render of the handset’s camera design, which gives tech fans a better look at Moto X4’s rear camera setup.

According to Phone Arena, the popular tech leaker, Blass, made it known that the photo could be the Moto X4 smartphone’s final design. The new render reveals the handset’s LED flash support as well as the rear dual camera setup.

One of the cameras will snap in monochrome, while the other will take images in glorious colors. The camera will help capture more natural images without a special filter and it will also generate a 'bokeh effect' in the photos.

GFXBench listing of the smartphone

According to the GFXBench listing, the Moto X4 smartphone will be available with a 16MP front camera. Nevertheless, the dual camera setup of the mobile device is expected to arrive with 12MP and another 8MP. According to Gadgets 360, the handset is expected to be the first non-Google device to support the Project Fi MVNO service of the search engine giant, which would allow the smartphone user to switch between different handset carriers.

The new render indicated that the display panel of the smartphone will be protected by 3D glass and the handset will have an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The mobile device is expected to come along with a 5-inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box

Device with Snapdragon 630 processor

The Moto X4 smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 system on chip (SoC), paired with either a 3GB or a 4GB of RAM.

In terms of storage, the mobile device could arrive with either a 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

As seen on photos depicting the smartphone’s design, the handset also seems to be one of the tech giant’s sleeker flagship devices. The mobile device is expected to arrive with artificial intelligence integration, an always-on voice, a front-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3000 mAh battery.

The Moto X4 was previously rumored to roll out this summer, but the tech company could unveil the handset during the IFA 2017 event in Berlin this September. Nevertheless, the tech company has yet to announce the official release date of the smartphone.
