Lenovo owned Moto launched the two new special edition smartphones namely Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. Both the smartphones are made official with the necessary camera and battery upgrades compared to the Moto G5 and G5 Plus launched in MWC 2017 even in February this year. Both smartphones have the same sort of build up quality that makes the device look premium and impressive. These two new special edition smartphones were in the rumors from quite a long, and now the rumors are kept aside, and phones are made official by the company.
Moto G5S
It comes up with the 5.2 - inch of the full HD display of 1080p of HD resolutions and comes up with the all metal body.
It is guaranteed to be a fast device with the presence of the 3 GB RAM and an inbuilt memory of 32 GB that can be expanded up to 256 GB via the use of hybrid microSD card slot. In the heart of the device, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC equipped with an Octa-core CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz frequency.
It runs on Android v7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box from day one. There is a front-mounted fingerprint scanner for the fast unlock and extra security. In this phone, Moto employed a 16 MP of the PDAF front camera with the LED Flashlight. Whereas in the front of the device you will get a wide - angled 5 MP of the selfie oriented camera with the LED Flashlight.
The smartphone is packed with the 3000 mAh of battery with the Turbo Power Charging that charges the device for the use of 5 hours of battery in just 15 minutes.
The phone is available in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold color with a price of 249 Euro. The phone will be available to buy from mid of August in most of the nations globally and will hit the US market this autumn season.
Moto G5S Plus
This smartphone flaunts the 5.5 - inch of the full HD display with the 1080p of HD resolutions. It features two memory options, one with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage while another one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of in - built memory.
Both the variants are having the hybrid microSD card slot to expand the internal storage up to 256 GB. Similar to G5S it also features the front mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone looks like the premium device with a Dual 13 MP of rear camera with LED Flashlight that is capable of 4K video recording. It is available in same Lunar Gray and Fine Gold color options when it will go on sale from mid-August in most parts of the world and this autumn season in the US market at a price of 299 Euro.
So some of the specifications of both Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus are similar to the predecessor Moto G5 and G5 Plus, but there are the primary camera and battery upgrades to these two new special edition smartphones.
