According to SegmentNext, on the processor front, this device will function on Intel’s latest processing Coffee Lake CPU. The upcoming Surface Book 2 could also feature a USB-C Type. In terms of design and look, it is rumored that the Surface Book 2 might have detachable look, which means that the display could be detached to go into tablet mode.
In comparison to its previous model, the laptop will have a better battery life and will run for an eight- hour stretch after a full charge. Not only is this, but Microsoft s also expected to launch another device named - Surface Pen.
With these, specifications and rumors it is sure that the flagship device will be better than before. The laptop is expected to initially cost in the region of $1,499. There are strong indications that it will cost more the Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop.
Microsoft's upcoming flagship phone
The upcoming phone is speculated to have a 5.7-inch display and will probably be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC, the same used in Samsung's S8.
It will be running on latest Windows 10 and the company is also planning to introduce three variants of the Surface phone. Apparently, one variant will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, and the other two might feature Snapdragon 820 or Snapdragon 821, which are also available in One Plus 3T, Google Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy S7.
