LG has reportedly begun sending out press invites for a launch event held on August 31, 2017, assumed to be at the annual IFA event held in Berlin, where the smartphone manufacturer is expected to take the wraps off its next-generation, second flagship smartphone LG V30. The company, however, hasn’t hinted towards any of the specifications that are set to arrive with the LG V30 smartphone; therefore, all still remains hidden until the time of the launch. Just ahead of the launch, it seems like LG V30’s press renders denoting the Design of the handset, have been leaked online.

Specs and features

According to the leaks, it appears that the upcoming smartphone is going have a Full Vision display and features that will be identical to the LG G6 smartphone. These leaks were first reported by online news publication website, OnLeaks – who has a reputation of revealing key features of upcoming smartphones ahead of their launch – most of which always turn out to be true.

Apart from this, the report further goes on to suggest that the LG V30 flagship smartphone is going to be the first device by LG that will have an up OLED display. Previously, it was rumored that LG might include a secondary display with its LG V30; however, the latest design leak does not showcase any such feature.

On the basis of this, it is safe to assume that LG has decided to do away with the idea of integrating a secondary display in its flagship smartphone. Furthermore, the LG V30 is going to be an infusion of metal and glass in the body, with a unibody design and will probably feature a dual rear camera setup on the back. Even though it has been rumored that the smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup, the sensor capacity of the same hasn't been revealed by any leading specifications or rumors as yet.

Other specifications of the smartphone

The device is speculated to feature a 6-inch Full Vision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip, further coupled with 4GB of RAM alongside 64GB of internal storage. Apart from this, the smartphone will most probably run on the latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system update, with no word on the battery capacity as yet.

As mentioned above, LG is expected to introduce its V30 smartphone sometime in August, and many believe that the company will take to IFA to do the proceedings. With all these specs the device is anticipated to be a true flagship.
