LG has sent out invites for its event on August 31, scheduled a day prior to the commencement of the IFA 2017 in Berlin, Germany. The company is tight-lipped as to which smartphone it will be unveiling at the August 31 event, but tech experts and enthusiasts are of the view that it could be the LG V30. The latest leak pertaining to the impending handset is an excerpt picked up from the LG V30’s manual, which gives a very ordinary description of the upcoming LG flagship.

LG V30 not coming with a secondary screen

According to a PhoneArena report, an excerpt pulled out from the V30 manual shows that the smartphone will not be featuring a secondary screen, which is the highlight of all V-series smartphones.

The predecessors of the upcoming smartphone - V10 and V20 - both came with a secondary mini display. Rumors and leaks have suggested that there might be an uncanny similarity between the V30 and the LG G6.

Similar to the LG G6, the V30 is speculated to sport slim bezels on all sides. However, the top and bottom bezel will be a little more prominent than the sides. The highlight is the 9:18 FullVision Display and the rear mounted dual camera setup. The rumors of similarity between the G6 and V30 are pretty logical as the South Korean OEM would like to back the design it created for its first 2017 flagship, especially after a bad second quarter earnings. Although some rumors and leaks maintain that handset may come with a new design the majority of the schematic leaks and rumors suggest that the upcoming handset is likely to display looks similar to the G6.
