Motorola recently took the wraps off its Moto Z2 Force smartphone that came with the company’s unique ShatterField technology. The Lenovo-backed company doesn’t seem to be done with smartphone launches yet. An alleged leak regarding one of Motorola’s upcoming smartphones – believed to be the Moto X4 – has appeared on the famous website, SlashLeaks. The latest leak suggests that the device will come featuring a dual Rear Camera setup, and a shiny glass body. Motorola confirmed their plans on working towards the launch of Moto X series of smartphones in June this year.

Camera, design and other details

The Leaked image showcases the alleged Moto X in a shiny blue color. The smartphone can also be seen featuring a huge dual camera module on the rear panel. It has been reported by many media publications that the Moto X4 will come featuring a dual rear camera system with a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor respectively. This will further be accompanied by a 16-megapixel front shooter as well.

The device’s body seems to be made out of glass. It is interesting to note that the characteristics visible in Moto X4 are very similar to the ones found on Samsung’s S8, which was introduced to the market in February this year. The alleged Motorola device also carries a fingerprint scanner embedded under the physical home button.

Endless rumors in the past have indicated that the smartphone might carry the IP68 certification, thereby making the smartphone both, dust and water resistant.

What do the leaks suggest?

Earlier last month, well-known leaker, Evan Blass confirmed on Twitter that the Moto X4 will arrive featuring a metal-built based on 3D glass.

He also stated that the smartphone will also extend its support for an Artificial Intelligence-integrated system, which is believed to be Google Assistant.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor

The smartphone is expected to feature a 5.2-inch display and whether it will be loaded with the company’s ShatterShield technology or not, is something that is not yet known.

The device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will offer 64GB of RAM. Users will also get the option of expanding the memory via its microSD card slot option if they’d like. The device is expected to house a 3,000mAh battery and will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. Stay tuned for more technology news, rumors, and updates.
