Solar physics has been one of the growing subjects of the modern day. The subject really helps us to know about the unknown secret about our Sun. Now with the help of solar physics, we are now able to know another secret about the Sun. This time, we have some knowledge on the inner core of the Sun. So, far we didn't have any kind of proper knowledge on the inner core of the Sun. In fact, the latest discovery helped us to know about the rotation of the inner core of the Sun.

What do we know now?

So far, it was estimated that the speed of the rotation of the surface of the sun is equal to its core.

Though we did not have any conclusive evidence for that. However, at the same time, there was a group of scientists who were opposing this point of view as according to them the rotation speed of the Sun's inner core may be different from its surface. In order to solve this confusion and figure out the truth, NASA did an observation. According to the reports produced by the SOHO, it was clear that the speed of the inner core of the Sun was different than its surface. In fact, the rotation speed of the inner core of the Sun is four times more than the Surface of the Sun. The speed of the rotation can be figured out by tracking different Gravitational Waves which are pulsating around the Sun.

For how long was the research going on?

Nasa was trying to figure out the gravitational waves around the star of the Solar System for past 40 years. It is quite obvious that tracking the g-waves around the Sun is not an easy job either. The data and information which NASA received for past 40 years were not good enough for making any kind of conclusive comment.

Now with the help of the latest technologies scientists have found that the frequency of the gravitational waves in on the upper surface of the Sun is more than the inner core of the Sun. From the gravitational waves which are pulsating around the Sun, the rotation speed of the Sun can be determined. Therefore, as the frequency of the gravitational wave is less in the Sun's inner core, the speed is a way more than the surface of the Sun.

According to the report produced by the SOHO, it can be estimated that the Sun's inner core takes about one week for a complete rotation. When the surface of the Sun takes about 25 days. Therefore, it is clear that the rotation speed of the inner core of the Sun is about four times more than the surface of the star of the solar system. The discovery has added a new feather in the cap of NASA. It is expected that in future they will make more great discoveries.
