When Asus entered the smartphone industry in 2014, the computer hardware company launched their Zenfone lineup. Since then, the tech giant has continued to make entry-level to mid-ranged mobile devices. Now the tech company’s new Zenfone 4 Max Android smartphone has rolled out in Russia.

The Taiwanese multinational company has added a new member to its ZenFone Max series. The company’s latest handset is called the ZenFone 4 Max, and the device is one of the five smartphones that the tech giant will roll out this month. Nonetheless, Asus has quietly launched the smartphone in Russia, but the handset still has no release date in India.

Smartphone’s impressive 5000mAh battery size

The ZenFone 4 Max smartphone is the successor of last year’s model, ZenFone 3 Max. The ZenFone 4 Max boasts an impressive 5000mAh battery with fast charging, as well as PowerMaster technology, which allows the handset to charge to other devices. The PowerMaster technology of the new smartphone will optimize the mobile device’s battery life, which makes it last longer and more stable.

Mobile device’s specs

In terms of specs, the smartphone will be available with a 5.5-inch IPS display along with a 1080p resolution. The mobile device will boast either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset or the bigger Snapdragon 430 processor, alongside the Adreno 308 or the Adreno 505.

The smartphone will also be available with a 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB through microSD card. The device will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

In terms of the camera specs, the new smartphone of Asus is equipped with an 8MP front shooter with f2.2 aperture and a 13MP dual rear snapper with f/2.0 aperture as well as an LED flash.

On the connectivity front, the mobile device includes a Micro-USB charging port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, among others.

Price of the device

Nevertheless, the mobile device is up for grabs in three colors: Pink, Gold and Black. The price tag of the smartphone in Russia is currently at 13,900 Roubles or approximately $230.

Aside from the company's latest smartphone, the tech giant will also announce 4 other new handsets under the ZenFone family this month.

The other Asus smartphones are the Zenfone 4 Selfie, Asus ZenFone 4V, ZenFone 4 Pro and two ZenFone 4 variants. These devices were spotted last month on Google Play Store support sheet. We will provide the latest on the device as it becomes available.
