Little did the fans know that after Hmd Global acquired the ownership and distribution rights of the Nokia brand, the latter would suddenly witness a surge in terms of its performance in the smartphone market. The Finnish-tech giant has certainly been ruling the hearts of many since the beginning of this year. The excitement first began when the company introduced a revamped version of its classic 3310 feature phone. This was obviously followed by the launch of several Android-based smartphones such as nokia 3, 5 and 6 to name just a few. Now the company is expected to introduce its high-end, flagship smartphone by the end of this month.

As reported by Nokia Power User, sources close to the Nokia’s plans have revealed that the heavily-speculated flagship smartphone will most probably be launched on July 30th this year. This news information comes in contrast with the previously existing one, which suggested that Nokia is expected to launch the device by the end of August. Needless to say, there still is no official confirmation regarding the smartphone. Therefore, readers are advised to take the information with a grain of salt, as of now.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835

As for the specifications, the Nokia 9 smartphone is expected to pack a 5.3-inch Quad-High Definition Organic LED display and is speculated to be further powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor.

The options that will be provided by the company will either be 64GB or 128GB of ROM.

The smartphone is further expected to house a 3,800mAh battery with Fast Charging technology and will most probably run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS as well. On the camera front, the smartphone is actually expected to pack a dual rear camera setup; however, the information hasn’t been confirmed by the company as yet.
