Nokia 8 smartphone’s recently leaked images revealed a beautiful and stunning mobile device with a glossy back. The device is one of the most anticipated smartphones by the Finnish tech giant.

According to Nokiamob, while previous photos of the Nokia 8 surfaced without its final Zeiss branding, the recently leaked images have shown the Zeiss imprint. The images were originally posted in a Baidu forum. The photos showcased a slightly curvaceous mobile device and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Nokia 8 images indicated that the handset is already in mass production.

The device will be available in blue and gold color options. The photos of the smartphone were taken on July 21.

Device with a rear dual camera setup

The leaked images suggest that the new Nokia 8 is a phablet and comes along with a gold and glossy back. The Nokia branding is located in the center of the handset’s back. The rear dual camera setup could be one of the essential features of the device. The cameras of the device will boast a 13MP, which was developed in collaboration with Zeiss.

The Android-powered smartphone is expected to arrive with a USB-C port, speaker grill, as well as one microphone port at the bottom. Tech fans and experts are anticipating that the mobile device could feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC (system on chip) with Adreno 540 GPU.

Forbes reported that the upcoming mobile device must be equipped with 64GB of internal storage. A microSD card support is also an important aspect of the upcoming smartphone. HMD is expected to utilize the vanilla version of Android that comes along with all the essential security updates.

As for the release date, the handset might see daylight in August. The Inquirer reported that HMD Global confirmed they will hold an event on August 16 in London, where the phone is expected to make its debut. The Nokia 8 is anticipated to be available at £640 or approximately $834.
