Motorola’s upcoming Moto G5S Plus Android smartphone has been going through the rumor mill for quite some time. Nonetheless, new images alleged to be of the mobile device have mounted up on the internet, showcasing the phone’s front and back.

Ahead of the device’s July 25 launch, the new images have been leaked on Slash Leaks. The interesting thing about the purported photos is the Moto G5S Plusdual camera set-up.

Science Times reported that the major upgrade of the new smartphone over its predecessor is the dual camera setup, which will boast a dual 13MP sensor, one colored and the other in Black and White.

The camera setup will be the unique selling proposition (USP) of the G5S Plus, and by this, the handset will be able to come along with features like the Bokeh Effect. However, the front shooter of the smartphone will have an 8MP sensor.

Nonetheless, as reported by GSM Arena, the smartphone is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s powerful octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset, coupled with a 4GB of RAM and a 32GB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 625 chipset is not only powerful, but its 14nm technology makes it a very power-efficient processor. The smartphone’s 64GB storage variant will arrive with a 4GB of RAM for better multitasking.

Also, the mobile device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.

The mobile operating system of the device comes with a few customizations for a unique experience.

Nevertheless, the popular tech leaker, Evan Blass, claimed that the mobile device will have the imaging capabilities of its predecessor, the Moto G5 Plus. The new smartphone is expected to come along with a larger 5.5-inch display, but with the same resolution as G5 Plus.

Smartphone’s battery and connectivity

The mobile device is ignited by a 3,000mAh battery along with fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the Moto G5S Plus smartphone is packed with a dual-SIM 4G, LTE, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, a GPS and a Bluetooth v4.2. Furthermore, the handset will also come along with an all-metal anodized aluminum build.

The smartphone will be available in three color options - black, silver and gold.

That being said, the American tech company is preparing to launch the Moto G5S Plus at an event in New York on July 25. Aside from the G5S Plus smartphone, the tech giant is also said to roll out the Moto X4 and Moto Z2 Force during the event.
