One of the major debuts that LG will be making this year is its flagship smartphone, the LG V30. The high-end device will fall in direct competition with other big smartphones in the market, including Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, Google’s Pixel 2 and Apple’s iPhone 8 as well. There is immense pressure on LG to pack the best of what they can with its V30 smartphone, given the already prevailing competition. If reports are believed to be true, then an alleged version of the upcoming V30 smartphone was recently spotted on Bluetooth SIG. By this information, it is safe to assume that the smartphone has passed the Bluetooth authority, and is prepared for its expected launch.

LG V30 spotted online

As reported by Android Soul, the upcoming LG V30 was recently spotted passing through Bluetooth SIG earlier this week. The listing on the website revealed that the smartphone would include Bluetooth 4.2 out-of-the-box. The same report even went on to suggest that the upcoming LG V30 smartphone is expected to be unveiled by the company on August 31. In other words, it is safe to assume that LG will probably give its fans a glimpse into what to expect from the upcoming LG V30 smartphone right before, IFA (2017) Berlin takes place.

Specs and features of the new smartphone

The smartphone will most probably be a part of the final-launch made at the ultimate IFA event as well. Previously, it had been reported that LG is planning on integrating a secondary display with its upcoming V30 smartphone.

In other words, the smartphone manufacturer was expected to pack its device with the same specification as its predecessor. That, however, is not true. It is being reported that LG has decided to settle with an OLED panel instead of a secondary display with its upcoming V30 smartphone. Apart from this, reports heavily-speculate that the LG V30 smartphone will also come packed with an ‘Always On’ function that will pretty much serve the purpose of a secondary display.

As far as other specifications of the upcoming LG V30 smartphone are concerned, the device is expected to sport a 5.7-inch display — the same as LG G6. Apart from this, the smartphone will most probably be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. The device is expected to pack a dual rear camera setup as well. The fingerprint on this one will probably be located right under the home button itself. The smartphone lastly, is expected to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system as well.
